Before you file a claim we recommend that a roofer checks on the damage to see whether it warrants a claim or not. Unlike big box stores we believe in and use seamless gutter systems. All of our gutter systems are made on site with aluminum or steel coils using a gutter machine. When you buy gutters from a big box store they come in many pieces and often form leaks within months. By crafting one solid run of gutters you get an affordable, durable, watertight gutter system that will last for years to come.
We can work on or build virtually any type of roof including tile, modified bitumen, rolled roofing, EPDM, TPO, dimensional shingles, presidential shingles, designer shingles, slate, steel coated shingles such as Decra, tar, coatings, along with several other roof types. There are many factors that determine whether your home was damaged by hail, including wind, the hardness and size of the hail, the duration of the storm, the age of your roof, and type of roof you have. If you were hit by hail please give us a call and we will send someone out free of charge to inspect the roof. We will take pictures of what we find and be happy to go over the damage if any that we find.
If you need help determining this our experts can come out to determine what type of roof you have and if it warrants a discount on your insurance premium. Typically any class 4 shingle or higher is eligible for a discount on your homeowners insurance. Conversely, if you are doing a re-roof we can discuss which products typically qualify for a discount on your insurance premium.
This question is often asked and can sometimes be difficult to diagnose. Sometimes by getting up in your crawl space or attic after a rainstorm you can find where the water is coming from. As a general rule of thumb water takes the path of least resistance, but this can often be hard to find then first thought. If you have a leak we recommend getting a professional to look for the problem right away before much more expensive repairs such as drywall damage and mold occur.
